Ali Zakeri

Born in 1959 in Zanjan, Iran

M.A. in Pianting from Tarbiat Modarres Art University.
B.A. in painting from Tehran Univrsity.

He is an associate at Iran Painters Association and teaches at the University of Tehran College of Fine Arts and other higher education institutes. Zakeri’s works have been awarded at several art festivals including the First Biennale of Iranian Painters, Iranian Landscape Painters Festival and the First Winter Illustration Festival (Imagination and Dream).

Ali Zakeri had 18 solo exhibitions and 80 group shows with various themes both at home and abroad. His works are largely figurative, focusing first and foremost on the nature of every object and phenomenon.
