Babak Kanaani is a Tehran-based photographer, born in 1987.

Babak Kanaani started photography in 2005. Since then, Kanaani has has collaborated with several domestic and international magazines on an ongoing basis. From 2016, Babak Kanaani’s work focuses on street photography which often highlights people’s daily lives.

Babak Kanaani has participated in more than 30 national and international group exhibitions all around the world, such as in the USA, France, Italy, Germany, Australia and more. Kanaani has also participated in numerous international photo festivals and has received various awards.

In addition to holding three street photography workshops in Iran and India, Kanaani has curated an exhibition in Scotland and was a judge in two photography contests.
