Farhood Nasiri is an Iranian Photographer, Artist, Independent Curator and Art Director.
Nasiri was born in 1985 in Tehran, Iran. With a Masters of Engineering, Nasiri decided to embark on an artistic career. From an early age, he had had an intense interest in cameras and photography. When Nasiri was young, he would experiment with a Kodak analogue camera. This was to be the beginning of his journey with photography. Farhood Nasiri has explored genres such as street photography, portrait, nature, minimalism, and architecture during his artistic career. He believes that photography and film hold the meaning of life. And life for Nasiri is summed up in this field of expression. Farhood Nasiri believes that it was photography that helped him raise his intellectual perception of himself and his surroundings.
Farhood Nasiri is the Head of Ambassadors of the 24hourproject in Iran and has been working with this project for 6 years. He is responsible for holding events, workshops, and international exhibitions of this project in Iran. Nasiri is the main member of the Policy Council team of the International Photo contest of “5 Photo Award”. Nasiri is always working to develop his activities at the international level, connecting with other countries, cultures, and other people.
