Born in Iran, Setare Taji has worked with several well-known galleries such as Eade parsi, Shila, Aghili, Atashzad, Zarna, and Farda. She has had several group and solo exhibitions in Iran, Greece, Italy, Turkey and Albania. Taji believes that all consumable materials around us have souls and that they integrate with us, even after their experiment. Cigarettes are a good example of this, as Taji believes that they have a soul that feels sorrow and happiness: “I’ve passed through the colours, I’ve attended to the beauty and hue of greys, they’ve gone to the heavy sleep. Indeed, everybody’s gone to the heavy sleep, then maybe, it wasn’t any beautiful death more than this.”
