Stefan Hadzi-Nikolov was born in 1955 in Skopje, North Macedonia. He is professionally trained in the Fine Arts, and so far has had numerous solo exhibitions, and has been featured in multiple group exhibitions. Hadzi-Nikolov has also been part of various Art Colonies and Fairs.

His paintings has been described as “figurative non-figurative” in content. Surrealist and colourful, these paintings appear one of a kind, the strange shapes created with the use of forms and unnatural patterns gives the work a supernatural, yet hyper-realistic feel.
