Ali Zakeri is an Iranian artist, born in 1959. Zakeri’s work features in 18 solo exhibitions and 80 group shows with various themes both at home and abroad. His works are largely figurative, focusing first and foremost on the nature of every object and phenomenon. Zakeri views and narrates nature in his own personal language through his art.
Zakeri is an associate of the Iran Painters Association and teaches at the University of Tehran College of Fine Arts and other higher education institutes. Zakeri’s works have been awarded at several art festivals including the First Biennale of Iranian Painters, Iranian Landscape Painters Festival, and the First Winter Illustration Festival (Imagination and Dream).
