Experience Art in Nature
Opening on Saturday, 1st March 2025, the 4th edition of Winter Sculpture Park 2025 is set to transform a once-neglected area into a vibrant hub for art and nature. Located along the banks of the River Thames, this park will feature an impressive collection of 40 sculptures created by artists from across the UK. Each piece invites visitors to engage with the environment in a meaningful way, creating a captivating experience.
This grand exhibition of public sculpture will withstand the elements for 8 weeks, featuring daring new works from 32 artists. By placing these pieces directly in public spaces, WINTER SCULPTURE PARK brings art to the forefront, encouraging interaction and engagement and promoting the use of public land in London’s lesser-known areas.
Nature’s Canvas: A Rewilded Landscape
The park will take on a magical quality, with sculptures interacting with the natural elements and seasonal changes. The rewilded landscape, which has flourished since the former Thamesmead golf course closed, provides a stunning backdrop for these artworks. Visitors will be able to wander through 6.5 acres of wild grassland, where the fusion of art and nature creates a unique experience that encourages reflection and connection.
