FOKUS 2018

The Curatorial Group of the 9th edition of
the International
 Photography Exhibition ‘FOKUS AWARD 2018’ composed by Elton Korttari, Osman Demiri, Burim Myftiu and the Festival
Director Arben Alliaj have selected for this edition 36 artists from Albania, France, Switzerland, Kosovo, Hungary, Macedonia.
Turkey, Germany, Bulgaria, Croatia, Ukraine, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Iran.

The ceremonial opening of the exhibition of the cocktail and the
 announcement of the winner of the ‘FOKUS AWARD 2018’
 will toke place at the Art Gallery in Fler on 12 October 2018.

One of the main differences between perfect and ordinary is the access to light.
 The battle of every photographer begins with “subduing” the light in favor of a perfect shot. No other element in a photograph belongs to photographer except the
 light with which he expresses his emotions focusing through the lens. Light is what reveals the particular, the divine, presenting the mystery of the invisible and the
fragile in a visual presentation. This is why Photo Contest “FOKUS” in its 9th edition, arrives with the theme: “Duel with light.
