Alessandro Papari

Born in Naples in 1971, Alessandro Papari studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in his hometown. Papari began exhibiting in 1991 in group as well as solo shows. His intimate oil paintings depict a variety of scenes, ranging from beekeeping to superheroes to pregnancy. Papari has exhibited his work in several countries including Austria, England, and South Korea. He has won several awards including the Morlotti Award, the Lissone prize, and the Sulmona Prize.
