Alireza Jodey was born in Ghazvin, Iran in 1969. Alireza graduated with a diploma in architecture in 1987n He then finished his B.A. in painting at the Islamic Azad University in 1989. Following his degree, Alireza graduated with an M.A. from the same university in 1994. He has since become a teacher of drawing at the Vijeh Graphic Design Institute. Alireza Jodey is also a faculty member of the painting group of the Islamic Azad Art & Architecture University, Tehran. His artworks are rich with symbolism, mythology, ancient Iranian paintings, and calligraphy.
