Damla Yalçın is a Turkish artist.
Born in 1995, Ankara, Turkey, Yalçın studied painting at Ankara Anatolian Fine Arts High School where she graduated first in her class. Between 2013 and 2017, she studied at Marmara University, Department of Painting, where she spent a semester abroad in Wroclaw, Poland. In addition to her solo works, she also works with the art group, Numune, which she established together with 5 other artists.
Damla Yalçın creates works consisting of pieces and installations based on the medium of embroidery, which she uses to explore the memories of her childhood.
