Ferhat Salman is a Turkish artist.
Born in 1992, Salman completed his primary education in Kızıltepe and was qualified to study at the Diyarbakır Fine Arts High School in 2007. During his time in high school, with the support of his teachers, Salmon was able to develop his artistic language rapidly. In 2011, he continued his education at Afyon Kocatepe University Fine Arts Faculty. Ferhat Salmon has developed his technical craft during his first years at the university. Since a young age, Salmon had began his practice, yet it was in high school and college that Salmon began to use it as a form of narration. In general, Ferhat Salmon works on papers that have lost their function and re-form them. In 2016, he enrolled to Mardin Artuklu University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Painting, and is currently continuing his education.
Ferhat Salman participated in Istanbul’s TUYAP exhibition in 2017 and the Mamut Art Project exhibition in 2018. He is currently continuing his work at his workshop in Mardin.
