Maria Tirotta is an Italian artist, born in 1987. She currently lives and works in Naples as an engraver and teacher. Tirotta worked at Master Vittorio Avella’s stamperia both in Naples and in Nola; she flanked the Argentinian Master Hector Felix Rodriguez during a workshop about the paper and fibre in 2017. She took her place as material’s cultis of prof. Angela Vinciguerra at Accademia di Belle Arti, Naples. Tirotta lives and works in Naples as an engraver and teacher, whilst hosting workshops on woodcut engraving. She joined numerous National and International Exposition winning many prestigious prizes and she grants various professional collaborations. At the moment she is tecnico di laboratory of Graphic Art at Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples, she collaborates and works with the graphic arts school teacher and coordinator of Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples.
