Sinan Dağ, who was born in 1989, graduated from the Division of Art Education of Gazi University in 2013. He is continuing his art life, which started in 2008 at Nedensanat Art Atelier, where he was a founding member, by producing interdisciplinary plastic artworks, especially paintings. His artworks are exhibited in many personal and mixed exhibitions.

Artist Statement
I think the art of an artist is his/her’s greatest map. By map, I intend to imply a guide useful for wandering in the past and present of an artist. Any person who claims to create art cannot hide this map in his/her works. Every artwork definitely has an imprint that leads to its maker. Therefore, I embraced the fact that a part of me is within my artworks as a conscious and deliberate design element. In a word, my artworks are legal mirrors and tiny time tunnels that shed light on me. I think of every painting I create as tiny parts of a little blog where I share my explorations and experiences with other people, my followers. I liked playing this game and I don’t intend to quit. I discovered this amusing thing lately: The painting plays with me, while I was thinking that I was playing with it and discovered the dance of the paint with textures of the papers and gravity. Therefore, you can catch and watch lots of flows and coincidences in my works. Speaking of coincidence, I am aware of the dangers of wild waves called as chaos; within my defenses against it, ‘simplicity and frugality’ comes first. I confide stories of my primitive and internal characters to these two heroes.
