FOKUS AWARD 2021 – MONO.

In a world transformed into a magnitizing vortex mutating us from subjects to objects, the real challenge has transpired to “removal”. To remove, reduce, consume, dilute, to shed the crusts, to crumble to the essence. In order to reveal the essential truth we must evade prejudgement and misconceptions by contemplating alone in our unique psyche.
Mono, an etymological basis of a multitude of words, will be the trigger for artists’ individual perspectives aimed at reaching the essence. This is the theme we invite you to address for this year’s Fokus Awad 2021.
“FOKUS AWARD 2020” competition regulations
FOKUS is an International Annual Contest and Exhibition of Photography in Fier, Albania.
Everyone can take part without age limitation.
Maximum 3 photographs can be submitted. If selected, only 1 photograph will be accepted.
The theme of the competition is: “Mono”.
Photographs are emailed to: info@fokusaward.com through: www.wetransfer.com
The submissions should be high resolution, enough to do 50x70cm large prints.
Photographers should email additional information such as: name and surname, the titles of photographs, full mailing address and telephone number.
Submitted photographs should not have been previously exposed.
Photoshop manipulated photos will be rejected.
The deadline for submitting of photos is July 30 2021 at 24:00.
Evaluation and Selection
Photos will be evaluated and selected by the International Artistic Board.
FOKUS AWARD 2021 will award the most successful photos of the competition with:
Fokus Award (1-st Prize): 1000 USD
Printing, framing, printing the catalog of FOKUS AWARD 2021 will be done by the organizers.
All participating photographs hold full authors’ copyright.
Printed photographs for the exhibition will not be sent to authors.
Organizers keep the right to use photographs to promote FOKUS activities.
