Who Can Apply
Expressive Art Therapy is a practical course conducted in workshop form. It is suitable for anyone who wishes to improve their mental health, wellbeing, and lifestyle. We welcome students of all ages to apply.
About This Course
Throughout the six-week engagement, students are directed to locate ways of creative expression that they find comfortable and effective, and which they can carry on after the end of their time with us.
Sessions are led by certified art therapists who are experts in their fields. Students are directed to engage in a variety of creative activities. These include drawing, sculpting, colouring, collage, and painting. Therapists will monitor the creative progress of each student, offering observations and analysis of the student’s artworks. From these observations, therapists will suggest the best form of creative language fitted for individual students to help them release creativity, ease distress, cope with trauma, and resolve conflicts.
