Starting his artistic production on canvas and later taking the third dimension with sculpture, Taylan Türkmen resolves all issues on his mind with metal materials, as he finds metal closest to himself and receives raw material support. In addition to metal rods and plates, he has included twigs, roots and rocks found in nature in his compositions for The Ordinary World, telling the story of the inner chaos in which people thrown about in the structural chaos caused by concern over the future are lost, and through which they must navigate. The architectural structures he makes from small metal fragments and places on metal pedestals are how Türkmen describes the dreams of poured concrete we live in as heargues that if we were able to add something from our true identity and memory to our lives, we would be able to achieve new ways of thinking, doing and living.
